    Participants: Programmers and operators

    Training goal:
    • Learning the TX8i-specific programming technique
    • Creating complete programs with the most common machining applications

    Course content:
    • Using the geometry processor
    • Dialog functions, init, gripping, cutting off
    • Windows functions: Delete, Copy, Cut, Find/Replace
    • Program structuring
    • Difference between dialog and NC program
    • Cycle programming for roughing, drilling, threading
    • Concurrent work with multiple subsystems
    • Coupling and crossing of NC axes
    • Creating a work plan
    • Creating a part program for a turned part with elevated difficulty level
    • Milling with live tools
    • Input and simulation of a part program on the PC
    • 3D workpiece view

    Participation requirements:
    • Basic knowledge of CNC technology
    • PC basic knowledge and experience with Traub NC machines are recommended

    Course duration:
    2 days - Wednesday (1:00 pm) to Friday (12:00 pm)
