Whispers of Fire
Introduction
This publication is a compendium of thoughts
inspired by the Holy Spirit.

After the author’s salvation experience, from the

place of fellowship with the Holy Spirit and from
tutelage by men, a ceaseless stream of revelations
began which conveyed these “Whispers of Fire”.
He began sharing these thoughts after few years of
their conception and they were released frequently
via utterance in meetings, and via social media using
the hashtag #thoughtsofelvis.

These thoughts have inspired, blessed and imparted

people all over the world and the Lord has given us
grace and instruction to make this into a monthly
publication.

Whispers of Fire
A Whisper on Prayer
Build prayer into your life!

Let your entire life be devotion and a devotional that men

will look upon and desire greater expressions of God.

You can speak in tongues without shouting, while you are

walking and working.

The same fire that burns when you shout in prayer will
also burn when you speak calmly during the day!

Jesus said, “men ought ALWAYS to pray and not to

faint” (Luke 18:1). This means that the opposite of prayer
is not prayerlessness but fainting, and to faint means to be
without strength.

You need strength to live the Christian life, strength to set

the will of God for your life in motion, strength to stop the
darkness and stir your boat amid turbulence and
persecution!

Once again, build prayer into your life.

Hope this blessed and instructed you! (June 24th)

Whispers of Fire 7
A Whisper on Battle
With the manner of things God revealed to me last night, I
have concluded that a person can seldom fulfill destiny or
live free of oppression if you do not learn how to fight and
express the victory that Christ has given you.

I learned this in 2015.

It is a good thing that you got angry at the works of the

Devil in your life.

I love to see it.

But the fact that you got angry does not change anything!

The truth is that a person can die oppressed!

Yes, you got angry that you were oppressed, but your
anger did not change much.

The question remains; What will you do with the Holy

Ghost? (June 28th)

Whispers of Fire 8
A Whisper on Boldness
When the devil roars in your life, roar louder and do not
stop. He will turn backward.

The anointing is designed to reveal and deal with

oppression and wickedness.

So, if you were overpowered, it means you gave up too

early. (July 5th)

Whispers of Fire 9
A Whisper on Dealing with Fear
How do we respond to fear?

It is really interesting the way God dismissed fear by

saying, “Do not be afraid,” because it was important to do
so. He went straight to His intentions for reaction. Jesus
also would respond to fear by saying this;
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not
as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart
be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

It means you could stop fear from getting a hold of you.

How amazing is that?

We get to ask ourselves, is it something We have control

of or some feeling that overwhelms us?

Fear in itself is not of God. Generally, being afraid is not a

natural precautionary measure God gave us. It came from
sin.

In Genesis 3:7-10, After man sinned, fear came into the

picture. Hence, it was not God's intent for His children to
be afraid.

Whispers of Fire 10
A Whisper on Dealing with Fear
Looking through the Scriptures, fear and its synonyms, as
shown contextually, had two pictures it demonstrated.
Depending on the Greek or Hebrew, it translates;

1. Fear- To be in awe or to revere (reverence). Isaiah

11:1-3, 2Pet2:17, Luke1:49-50, Acts 13:15-16, Acts
19:17. (Have fun in fellowship here)

2. Reverence- Is an awareness of the entirety of God as

Father and Lord, and awareness of where we are now,
who we have become and who God is. It is an
overwhelming state of worship in God, of Identification
of His nature, love, and heart to us

Whenever I read, “do not fear,” I believe I have control in

the area of choosing my reaction. The finished works of
Christ bring me to an environment where fear poses not to
be a factor or reaction to familiarity, unfamiliarity, and
misdirected attention. It could be a dark room or even an
uncertain situation in life. All these scenarios are
opportunities to affirm our realities in Christ.

Then, can we choose not to be afraid of fear? Yes, we can!

Whispers of Fire 11
A Whisper on Dealing with Fear
Take a look at John 14:25-27 below:

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet

present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom
the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all
things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your
heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

So How?
Look at Elisha in 2 Kings 6:11-18. This was such an
amazing way to dismiss fear, he changed his
consciousness;

16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us

are more than they that be with them.

Awareness of who you have become chases away fear.

Romans 8:15-17 For ye have not received the spirit of

bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit
of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Whispers of Fire 12
A Whisper on Dealing with Fear
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that
we are the children of God,

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-

heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that
we may be also glorified together.

We are no longer ruled by fear but are surrounded by the

unrelenting love of The Father. A love that burns with the
passion that incites boldness and propels obedience.

We have been liberated from bondage.

We are sons of freedom.

And we have been made The Righteousness of God in

Christ Jesus.

We are surrounded by the Love of The Father.

Therefore fear has no hold on our hearts, Now, we choose

not to fear. (July 6th)

Whispers of Fire 13
A Whisper on Condemnation
“Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”

The next time your friend or folk falls into sin and you are
about to condemn him/her, remember the statement that
Jesus made in John 8:11;

“Where are thine accusers?” He asked

She said, “They are no more!”

And Jesus’ dismissal of her accusers and His acquittal of

the “adulterous woman” was with a commandment,
saying, “Go and Sin no more.”

He started by playing out His response to sin and then He

compared the display to His response.

He played it out by saying “He that is without sin let him

be the first to cast a stone” and they all dropped their
stones. But the mistake that they made was to leave
because Jesus’ intention was not to send them away but
to establish the basic fact that “All have sinned." What they
did not see was that the way of escape God had made for
mankind was Himself, Jesus.

Whispers of Fire 14
A Whisper on Condemnation
So, the woman remained and He asked her “Where are
thine accusers?”

In this case, both the accuser and the accused required

the forgiving grace of Jesus.

This scenario is similar to the activity of the devil in his

capacity as the accuser. When he presents a matter of
accusation, it is the eternal blood of Jesus that speaks for
you!

Consequently, we learn from Jesus, and we tell ourselves

or friends when we fall, “Neither do I condemn you.”
(July 7th)

Whispers of Fire 15
A Whisper on Seeking God’s Will
When you realize God knows best, you will seek more to
“know” His will and align, than you will seek to “move His
hand.” (July 23rd)

A Whisper on Believing
The protocol of a worked miracle is thus:

God will give you prophetic instructions which will implicate

and set you up for the superimposition of the supernatural
over the natural!

If you can hear and believe in God, you will see more
miracles! (July 26th)

Whispers of Fire 16
A Whisper on Aligning With
God’s Will
I know a man that prayed and said “Jesus, ask of me and
it shall be given unto you, whatever you want.”
And then I discovered that we have become so selfish!

All of us.
God also has needs.
God has prayer points too.

Heaven is praying that we grow above our needs and

wants, and align with God’s will and intentions.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 (ESV) reveals one desire of God:

3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God

our Savior,

4 Who desires all people to be saved and to come to

the knowledge of the truth.

How much of your life is fulfilling this desire?

If truly you have walked with God, you will also fellowship
with His suffering. (July 27th)

Whispers of Fire 17
A Whisper on the Protocol of a
Miracle
Pastor Emmanuel Iren has taught us time and again, that
when we align, the “natural cause” of the supernatural
takes effect!
We see this even in our lives as believers.

The goal of prayer is intimacy. There is a place beyond

having needs met that a believer must get to. Ironically, we
may never see the best of God if we do not rise above
prayer as a means to meet needs.
When intimacy is set in motion, we begin to desire God’s
desires and will for our lives. It then becomes His
responsibility to supply all we need to achieve His
purpose.

Even if it is a house or car, it is infinitesimal for God. Just

align. Take a look at Matt 6:33;
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness, and all these things shall be added
unto you.

Now, we understand that by His Spirit, we can receive

instructions that are meant to put us on this path of
alignment for the natural law of the supernatural to take
effect when we align.
Whispers of Fire 18
A Whisper on the Protocol of a
Miracle
No wonder Paul called it the “working” of miracles. This is
God inspiring you by His Spirit to “work a work” that will
produce a miracle.

The instruction puts you in tandem with His spirit and sets
the angels in motion, and then a miracle (God’s power
seen altering the natural cause of existence) is physically
seen!

Jesus told them (John 2:7) to fill the jars with water and in
vs 8 He said;
Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast.
And they bare it.

“Draw some out and take it to…”

In the great division of the Red Sea that we all know (see
Exodus 14:21), we focus on the division without seeing the
instruction that came before.

Vs 16 Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand

over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may
go through the sea on dry ground. (ESV)

Whispers of Fire 19
A Whisper on the Protocol of a
Miracle
And then watch this;
Vs 21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the
sea, and the LORD drove the sea back by a strong
east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the
waters were divided.

Why did God not just do this without Moses? Why did He
have to be dramatic?

Two reasons.
1. In Vs 13, Moses already declared that they shall see the
salvation of the Lord, they will need to know (as one of the
tokens) that it is Jehovah God that hath delivered them,
not an idol!
2. Also in the working of miracles, we see God engaging
His people in divine participation of the supernatural. He
wants you involved.

Prayer
May your ears and eyes open up.

No man or woman of vision caught a glimpse of their

purpose by looking through the eyes of another man.
(July 27th)
Whispers of Fire 20
A Whisper to Focus on God
The true journey of impact starts with a period of
separation from the norm and shroud of comfort into an
unknown land, but with a definite goal, and live instructions
as the roadmap that guarantees a successful arrival.

What I am saying is; if the reason you are afraid of

beginning the journey of destiny is that your family, friends,
colleagues, pastor, or neighbors do not believe in God’s
call on your life, then you are small. If you want to please
them, sell ice cream!

Look beyond men and focus on the ALL KNOWING GOD.

Keep your gaze fixed on Him, as He holds you by the
hand.

This is a call to all of them that sleep. Heaven needs you.

So RISE and dance to the beat of Yahweh.

Let us dance to the drum beats of Yahweh! (August 8th)

Whispers of Fire 21
A Whisper on Expressing
Impartations

The excellence of an impartation is expressed via usage

and discipline over time.

The anointing will place demands on your life and as you

yield, the impartation will be sharpened.

In essence, 20 “Oyedepos” and “Aromes” can lay hands

on you and after 10 years you can be worse, not better.
Not because they are fake, but because you expected
magic to happen.

Impartations create possibilities. (August 13th)

Whispers of Fire 22
A Whisper on Discipline
I have observed.

Many people pray for the “next level” but are not ready for
it.

There is a level of discipline, diligence, sacrifice, and

servitude that we must sustain before the scope of our
stature will change.

Otherwise, you can be a praying man but remain on the

same level forever, even if you have a sincere heart.
(August 15th)

Whispers of Fire 23
A Whisper on Hearing God’s
Voice
Brethren,

When was the last time your dream made sense and
spoke life?

Have you heard the voice of God today?

Is there a burning passion for God’s word in your heart?

If your answer is no, leave food for seven days and spend
time in fellowship.

A dead man is not just one in the grave, but one to whom
God is only a message. (September 2nd)

Whispers of Fire 24
A Whisper on the Place of
Intercession
If you will grow in spiritual responsibility and authority,
make intercession your lifestyle.

I am currently in the Lagos State NYSC Orientation Camp

and I have been praying in tongues since yesterday for the
camp, and today, I fell into a trance. God showed me
something pivotal to this camp. He also gave me a word
for one of the ministers and it was accurate.

Maybe the reason you do not hear or see is not that you
are not a prophet, but your prayers are mostly self-based.

Spend more time praying for others and you will grow in
stature, wisdom, and knowledge.
(September 5th)

Whispers of Fire 25
A Whisper on the Skill Called
Prayer
There were days when the Lord would have me pray in
tongues under my breath for the whole day.

It is an important skill to have when you are not in full

control of your time. God knows there will be such times,
and we must build capacity and structures to stay burning.

There are answers to prayer (getting something you

prayed for) and there is the reward to prayer
(getting/becoming something because you have a prayer
life).

The greatest miracle of prayer is what you become

because you pray, not essentially the answers.

There is no secret or special calling required to hear God's

voice frequently and know things that can only be
revealed.

If you pray much, fast often, and spend time in the Word,
your spirit will open up, and you will hear Him because His
voice is locked up in your spirit man.

Whispers of Fire 26
A Whisper on Becoming by
Prayer
Will you open up your spirit, or keep living a deprived life,
reduced to mere humanity by the limitations of the fall?

Until you become a point of prayer, you will

remain other people's prayer point all your life.

Think about it. For a while now, you have always looked
for someone who will pray for you or tell you what to do.

Will you not grow? Christ is in you, but you will need to stir
up His expression. May He become mighty in your life.

Come Up Hither, So that we can all burn.

(September 6th)

Whispers of Fire 27
A Whisper on Seeking to Know
God
There is an intensity that the believer must sustain if
he/she will perpetually express the Holy Spirit.

God is not just a teaching. There is an experience of life

we must have that animates what doctrine proposes.

Burn! (September 8th)

Whispers of Fire 28
A Whisper to Stay Sharp in the
Spirit
I discovered that when we do not pray, we will see the
people God sends to us as burdens. Prayer births
fervency; not praying will make you cold and like begets
like.

The Spirit of God operates with an economy of fervency.

Everything He does is birthed from this fire. This simply
means that we will miss God a lot if we do not have a
prayer life (in tongues).

That is why Jesus said in Luke 18:1 “men ought always

to pray” because we must stay sharp to discern God and
receive His best.

Stay sharp in Spirit, will you? (September 8th)

Whispers of Fire 29
A Whisper to Worship Jesus
Mary was/is a believer, like you and I.

Jesus never emphasized His virgin birth as a climacteric

element of Christian worship.

She found mercy and fulfilled a prophecy.

Jesus (her own “biological son”) never worshipped her.

So how can we be more accurate than God?

Look at what Jesus said about who His mother/brethren is

in the passage below;

And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto
him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without,
seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is
my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round
about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold
my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do
the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister,
and mother. (Mark 3:32-35 KJV)

This means Mary was only as important to Him as her

willingness to do God's will.
Whispers of Fire 30
A Whisper to Worship Jesus
Jesus also said, “whatsoever ye shall ask in MY NAME”
and not in the name of a saint or believer who has passed
on.

If you keep doing so, you will invite familiar spirits to

sustain the image of these beings in your life and animate
them. But due to the fact that they are demons, you would
have empowered them and given them power over your
life by your worship.See the Scripture below;

If thou, therefore, wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee
behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship
the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
(Luke 4:7-8 KJV)

ONLY HIM SHALL THOU SERVE AND NOT AN

ARCHANGEL OR SAINT PATRICK! (September 11th)

Whispers of Fire 31
A Whisper on Men that Make
Great Ministries
Great ministries thrive on the shoulders of faithful men.

Gifts and anointing are on the front end, that is what

people see.

But the stirring forces are the rigorous study times,

prayers, and administrative duties.

Gifts alone do not make ministry. Men do.

(September 11th)

Whispers of Fire 32
A Whisper on Divine Leading
If Abraham could wait on God’s promise for two decades
without the Holy Spirit, it means we (believers with the fruit
of long-suffering) can wait longer to see that which God
has promised us.

Here is how to live:

Find out what season of your life you are in, in God’s
calendar, and conduct yourself accordingly.

For instance, many people live like they are in the

“showing forth” phase when they are still in the “building
up” phase, and therefore experience frustration.
(September 13th)

Whispers of Fire 33
A Whisper to Stay in Tune With
the Holy Spirit
As you grow in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you will get
used to the whisper that He gives you in your heart, when
He wants to draw you into communion.

The more you learn to respond to this summon, the

stronger His voice and influence will be in your life.

RESPOND TO GOD. (September 14th)

Whispers of Fire 34
A Whisper on the Power of
Excellence
“Something” in me always made me go for excellence in
any hobby or skill I have. I can monetize whichever and
build a company out of it. But, God had me structure my
photography first.

I am grateful that I gave all my hobbies a chance.

(September 15th)

A Whisper to Start Over

It is not everyone I tell “don't give up, you can make it.”

No. Some people need to give up on some stuff; repent,

re-strategize, unlearn ideologies and give up mindsets that
have caged them in boxes of religion and social
constructs.

It is a good day to give up and start over!

(September 16th)

Whispers of Fire 35
A Whisper on Fellowship with
God
One of the greatest miracles on earth is transformed
desires and passions in the heart of a believer. This is
doctrinal truth.

If you spend enough time with God, you will begin to like
what He likes and hate what He hates.

It is our nature, and we must align.

Time with God breaks down holds of the old man in our
hearts.

Time with God means fellowship, long prayers, and

Scripture study.

That is how we would grow. (September 18th)

Whispers of Fire 36
A Whisper on Giving
If truly it has dawned and lighted upon your heart, that you
have the power to GET WEALTH, You will not struggle to
give. (September 19th)

A Whisper to Pray Always

When you keep prayer upon your lips, The Spirit realm will
eventually become more real to you.

You will see more than you see, you will hear and know,
and your perspectives will be immediately influenced by
The Spirit each time.

However, the devil will fight your spiritual life for you to
remain a limited and reduced version of yourself. Do not
permit that to happen.

Keep prayer upon your lips! (September 19th)

A Whisper on Building
Conviction
If your convictions will change because you are in the
midst of people, you are still a small man and you might
never handle anything strong in your life.

Build conviction! (September 19th)

Whispers of Fire 37
A Whisper to Get Lost in God
There is an education you will need in warfare that you will
not touch, until your priesthood begins to dislodge
darkness, and undo the bands of spiritual wickedness.

That which wickedness will pervert, the accurate

priesthood will unveil.

When your prayers begin to touch the heart of a territory,

the principalities of that land will approach you to test the
weight of your convictions. They are intelligent beings that
can travel back 700 years into the past and know the
weaknesses that caused your fathers to fall.

This is why you must be lost in God if you will last in

warfare. (September 21st)

Whispers of Fire 38
A Whisper on Righteous Living
for Believers
We live in a society where you are called “pastor” not
because of a call but because you know the Bible and
follow righteousness.

If that is the case, every Christian should be called a

pastor because we are all to know the Bible and lead a life
that is right with God

However, people want to justify their actions by placing

themselves on a pedestal that is lower than the title
“pastor” so they can live lasciviously. (September 24th)

Whispers of Fire 39
A Whisper to be Slow to Speak
Not everyone speaking to you wants to listen to what you
have to say. Some people are only concerned about
making a point, and that is okay.

I have learned to be silent at such times, and not speak at

all.

Maybe I would learn a thing or two from them.

(September 24th)

A Whisper on The Believer’s

Advantage
Whatever privilege or opportunity my devotion to God will
not afford me, I cannot afford!

No, I am NEVER DISADVANTAGED.

(September 27th)

Whispers of Fire 40
A Whisper on Divine
Relationships
Make your convictions and stance known early. Who will
go, will go, and who will stay, Will stay.

Among those who stay, some are sent.

Cherish those who stay, walk with those who are sent. The
sent ones are revealed.

That is the hack to divine relationships.

(September 28th)

Whispers of Fire 41
A Whisper to Go As God Sends
You
If the reason you did not go to minister at the ministry you
were invited to is that there was no honorarium, then you
have a long way to go.

I was once invited to minister at a service, and the host

said I should “take public transport.” Regardless, I went to
do God’s work powerfully and returned edified.

If they do not honor you, that should not be your problem.

If God sent you, that is enough.
(September 28th)

Whispers of Fire 42
A Whisper on Consecrating The
Eyes
If you have the anointing of a seer, your eyes must be
consecrated to God so that the purity of that stream can
be preserved.

Other believers can watch movies for long hours, and

consequently, be on social media for another five hours,
but your eyes and mind cannot afford that luxury.
Otherwise, you will be praying and seeing that lady you
were admiring on Instagram, then you will think God is
saying “something.”

No. He is not.

Your consecration as a minister is deeper than that of an

average believer.

If you will grow that grace, spend more time in God's word
and prayer. Learn to meditate on the word, visualize it.
Pray in tongues with an open heart. Free your mind of
every loose thought.

Whispers of Fire 43
A Whisper on Consecrating The
Eyes
If you practice this well enough, soon you will just close
your eyes and begin to see into that realm.

The realm of the spirit is “RlGHT HERE” and, by the

operation of sight, we can see into that realm and behold
what the Lord is doing, and when we see it, we can
replicate it!
(September 28th & 30th)

Whispers of Fire 44
A Whisper on Faithfulness in
Service
Faithfulness is a necessary key if a person will partake of
God’s grace under a ministry.

Not everyone who followed Jesus partook of the blessings

of His ministry. Only the faithful followers did, this shows
that the spirit realm is designed to reward faithfulness.

We are dealing with an Eternal Spirit and we are

stewarding His dimensions.

If you go to a ministry just to observe what is happening

without an intention to be faithful, it is better to leave as
there is no reward in the kingdom for an observer.

Nevertheless, if you choose to remain a part of the family,

then be active; attend meetings and prayers, respond to
the daily charges, etc.

This is just to put things in perspective.

Jesus is glorified always, and we will set more hearts on

fire.
(September 28th)

Whispers of Fire 45
A Whisper on Spiritual
Leadership
The goal of spiritual leadership is to replicate the
dimension of God in heaven that He seeks to birth on the
earth.

Hence, the offices of men must be consistent with the

offices and beings in Heaven given charge over that work
by which God will bring His will to pass.

If you choose leaders out of emotion, you have limited the

possibilities of that ministry. The maximum potential will be
attained when the offices align.

It is in such times that an Angel will appear and not know

that he changed realms. It was commonplace in the early
church.

Things will happen naturally because alignment has been

achieved.

AS IT IS IN HEAVEN, SO SHALL IT BE ON THE EARTH.

That is how we must do ministry.

(September 30th)

Whispers of Fire 46
A Whisper on Heart Check
Have you begun to love ungodliness?

Have you caught yourself smiling at things you once

frowned upon?

Can you spend more time on a movie than in prayer/Bible

study?

It is because you stopped praying.

Please, pick up your prayer life before you do something

you never imagined you would do!
(October 1st)

Whispers of Fire 47
Testimonies

I've been having this pain in my stomach for days

now. Don't know what it was but I've been falling
sick often. During the prayer when you said if we
had prayer request and I spoke about it,
immediately you started praying about it I felt
instant relief and release I don't know what it was
but I stopped feeling pains.
Lord Jesus I'm so grateful.
I'd need to pray for clarity on the other part of what
you said though.
Thank you Elvis for letting God use you to minister
to people.

One day after I had just asked God for an edifying

word from someone, Elvis texted me with very
specific prophecies that were literally answers to
my prayers.
A couple of weeks later, Elvis instructed me to go
on a fast, once I started the devil literally moved
mad. It was the most chaotic season of my life, but
Elvis taught me how to stay. After this, normalcy
returned and I got a 150% scholarship, so school
fees plus living expenses covered.

Whispers of Fire
Testimonies

Sir, That charge you gave has altered something in

my life, and in my walk with God.
Thank you sir, I'm grateful to God for bringing me
close to you

Good afternoon Sir, how is your day going? I hope

it's going on well.
Sir I want to share something with you, my
mummy's leg has been paining her severely since
we came back from the village, I had a dream that
you prayed for her and she got her healing.

Sir, I wanted to wait to tell you this in person.
