ray Disc Optical Drive and I will do everything possible to resolve this issue to your satisfaction.
I understand that this situation must be frustrating because you are having trouble playing Blu-Ray discs
with your disc drive connected to your computer. LG Disc drives are plug-and-play devices, you just need
to plug it into your computer and place a disc inside and it would read the disc, and it should be good to
go. In this matter, have you tried to update your computer via Windows update? Does it recognize your
disk while playing or opening files to your Disk Drive? What type of media player you are using ?
When playing movies, you will need appropriate media player applications installed on your computer
depending on the disc type. The Blu-ray disc needs a library for AACS decoding is a usual error message
that comes up from other media player app when you try to play a movie from a Blu-ray disc, using a
different app like Leawo is what I recommend. You can download and install Leawo from the
developer’s webpage for free. https://www.leawo.com/

Color of Google Chrome, Slack, Microsoft OneNote are all a nasty dark brown color/hue instead of the
regular black color. When I connect my LG Gram 17" to an external monitor, the color is normal (black)
on the monitor. Please assist!!!

I know how frustrating that is that your Laptop doesn’t project the exact color that it should be. We can
try performing these troubleshooting steps I have attached to this email to fix the issue.
If the issue still persists, we provide a 1-year Manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase on the
copy of the receipt or sales invoice provided by the dealer. If the unit is still within the 1-year warranty
and it needs a repair, kindly let us know so we can create a ticket and provide the following information:

Kindly include a copy of the receipt or sales invoice for warranty validation.
For laptop repairs, our service team will send a shipping label through email to ship the laptop to our
facility shipped ground by FedEx. Once the unit is received by our repair facility, please expect that the
unit will be sent back to you within 7-10 business days For security and privacy purposes, all files will be
deleted by our technician and the laptop will be reverted back to its factory default, Kindly back up your
files prior to repairs.
If the unit is within a year from the date of purchase, the repair will be covered by the warranty. If it is
over a year, a repair fee of $500 + tax will apply for the repair of the laptop which covers the parts,
labor, and shipping cost. You may fill up the form below to confirm your warranty and request a repair
service.

As part of our troubleshooting steps, we need to check for updates from LG Update Center too.
However since it was removed by your office administrator, you can get the installation file from this
link and reinstall it. Once reinstalled, you may proceed with the troubleshooting steps to check updates

Since it was removed by your office administrator, there is a possibility that your laptop will have
restriction in installing the LG Control Center, if that happens you need to get in touch with your office

I just registered my new LG laptop and the name I entered was changed to Catherine. My name is
Kathleen. I saw no way to go in and correct it myself.Also the Model number on my box 15Z95P -
P.AAE8U1 came up as not valid. I searched for my laptop and found the first 6 numbers/letters and
selected it. The last part came up as ( K.AAB6U1 ) I'm assuming in the future if I have any problems the
registration itself would be a problem. Can you correct this for me or send me instructions? My email is

situation and is working to resolve the problem. I will submit a complaint on your behalf so there is a
record of the issue you encountered.
To be completely transparent, it may take some time to have the problem corrected. You may want to
consider creating a new account. This would mean re-entering all your information, and I understand
this could mean considerable work depending on the number of products you have. It would ensure you
don’t miss any news or updates, though.
Alternatively, I can also register your product details in our internal system that we can use if you
contact us in the future for help on your units. However, this will not register the products in your online
account so you will have to register it once the website issue has been resolved.

I sent a laptop in for repair 2 months ago and I have heard almost nothing about the status. Last week I
received a notice from Fed Ex that the laptop was being shipped and would arrive on Tuesday Nov 11th.
Nothing showed up and the Fed Ex tracking service status is "pending." On the LG repair service site the
status is "Reschedule - Other Reason." How can I get an update on what is going? thank you

I certainly understand that this situation must be frustrating because you have to send the laptop for
repairs and contact us to check on the status of the repairs.
I reached out to our service team and according to our technicians, they found out that the laptop’s case
status is unrepairable due to liquid damage. After further checking, I am able to confirm that it is being
delivered having a tracking number 390622217465, and it arrived Wednesday 11/16/2022 at 3:05 pm to
be exact
