INTRODUCTION
Oracle Fusion Compensation product has adopted the responsive pages in a phased manner. The pages load faster, are
highly configurable, easier to use and mobile-friendly. In this document, we compare key classic and responsive
Compensation features for these functional areas and tasks.

To start using responsive Compensation pages, you need to enable these profile options:

SALARY COMPARISONS

Functional Behavior
CLASSIC RESPONSIVE

The task name is Manage Salary. The task is renamed to Change Salary.
This task continues to invoke the manage salary compact
guided flow.

Grant this aggregate privilege along with Correct Worker
Salary to users who can delete a salary record. To delete a
record, you also need the ability to correct the record.

ORA_CMP_VIEW_FUTURE_SALARY_CHANGES Contains all functional and data security privileges needed


to view future salary changes for a worker.
View Future Salary Changes

Use the Regenerate Grants process to generate grants for all of the roles. You can find more details on how to generate
grants in Oracle HCM Cloud documentation.

Existing Aggregate Privilege Details

to open compensation spotlight pages. This privilege is now

If you have custom roles setup for compensation and HR specialists, you need to grant all 4 aggregate privileges to those
roles, when you start using responsive Compensation pages.

You can configure rules for the Change Salary action. Configure rules for each role so that section and field visibility is
appropriate.
Key points:
 To configure field behavior in the salary section, select the appropriate region in the Page Attributes section:
 For compensation and HR specialists, select the Change Salary for Compensation Managers region
 For line managers, select the Change Salary for Line Managers region.

 Action doesn't support questionnaires or the ability to show or hide sections because both When and What and
Salary sections are mandatory. So, those attributes don't appear in Design Studio.
 To make Action Reason required, you need to use an expression through Page Customization. You can use this
expression for the Action Reason choice list:

INDIVIDUAL COMPENSATION
