Dear Sir/Madam,

Subject: An Application for Position of Health and Safety Officer.

I am writing to express my interest in the position of health and safety officer in your institution as advertised in your website
www.anpm.tl on 1st July 2019.

I graduated from Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) “Veteran” Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2013 with a Bachelor degree in
Petroleum Engineering and I also graduated Diploma in Process Engineering (Oil and Gas Operation)  from Universiti Malaysia
Sabah (UMS), Malaysia in 2018. My formal educations, training, and working experiences have adequately prepared me with the
skill and knowledge required for this position.

Currently, I am doing six-months internship in development and production (D&P) directorate at Autoridade National do Petroleo e
Minerais (ANPM) until December 2019. In this internship, I reviewed various reports and documents of offshore and onshore field
to collect information of activities that related to the drilling, reservoir and production, I also assisted my supervisor to update and
re-update daily production history to the subsurface database and plotting using Microsoft excel to see performance of the wells and
assisted in the meeting with the oil and gas company. This experience helps me to understand activities related to the oil and gas
field and also to be familiar with the nature of work in oil and gas industry.

I have attended Oil and Gas Safety passport (OGSP) training at NIOSH Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. This training has given me better
understanding and skill about necessary knowledge on laws affecting safety and health at the workplace and also to provide the
basic training for contractor’s worker on the recognition of hazards and risks present in the oil and gas industry. I also have
completed Firefighting and Rescue training. This training has given me skills how to prevent fire and how to use a fire extinguisher
when there is fire. I also have gained valuable experiences with three months of industrial training at Villaco SDN, BHD, Miri,
Malaysia. In this training, I obtained knowledge and skill on how to do the inspection, service, maintenance, and refill for the
portable fire extinguisher, cylinder CO2, N2, and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) cylinder. This training has provided
me with a strong insight to experience real work in an industrial environment and training me how to finish my work on time.
Additionally, I have attended a three months course for workplace health and safety, first aid, forklift truck and warehouse operation
level II at CNEFP Tibar Dili, Timor Leste in 2019; during this course, I gained practical experiences of driving forklift, risk
assessment, accident investigation, and document control.

My preview worked were as part-time lecturer at UNITAL in 2019 and lecturer at Dili University (UNDIL) in 2014, where I taught
subjects about well control, process operation in oil and gas industry, reservoir engineering, enhance oil recovery (EOR), production
engineering and process refinery. I also worked as internal quality control assistant at UNDIL in 2016, where my responsibilities
were checking and monitoring process of learning and teaching activities in university to maintain and improve quality, equity and
efficiency for development of university. This experience has improved my interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

I participated in extra-curricular activities during my campus life, which has strengthened my communication and interpersonal
skills. In addition to these skills, I also possess leadership qualities and a passion for work in this field. I am confident that the
combinations of my education, experiences, trainings and participation in extra-curricular activities have prepared me for an
immediate contribution to your institution. I would be most grateful if you could consider me for this position in your institution.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any additional information. I am available for interview at any time and I look
forward to hearing from you in the near future and I have attached my CV and other relevant documents for your consideration.
