TASK 1 TO 4

Task 1
My brother is my favorite person in the world. His name is Michael, but he likes to call him
Mike and he is 28. He works for the government of Colombia and he is a very serious and
dedicated person with his work. He likes pop music, like me, and we go to some concerts
together. His favorite singer is Madonna so he listens to her music all the time. I really love
him.

Task 2
I think D1 is better than Justo y Bueno. I like the D1 products more. For example, I prefer
the cheese because it is creamier, I don’t like the taste of the cheese in Justo y Bueno. Also,
I like the detergent because it smells nicer. My mother says that the laundry bleach is more
effective and she also says that the oil is cheaper in D1. The D1’s french fries are more
delicious. I guess the products are better in D1, that is why I prefer D1.

Task 3

Dear Paula
Hi, I want to tell you about my family. I live with my mom and my brother. My mom is a
housekeeper and also she is a babysitter, her name is Angela. She takes care of my cousin
nearly all day. My brother’s name is Michael and he works in the Concejo of Bogota. My dad
calls Gerardo, he lives in Neiva and he has an estate and there are a lot of animals.
They are very nice and kind people. I love them so much, we tried to share the most time
together as possible.

Task 4
I always work out in the evenings because I want to be in great shape. Also, I usually go bike
riding with my friends on sundays. I really like to play sports, I sometimes play soccer with
my dad on weekends. My friends and I go to the Simon Bolívar park and we play volleyball.
I almost never play basketball but I enjoy it a lot when I play it. I also do martial arts twice a
week. I often meditate on mondays and thursdays. Finally, I do yoga around two hours a
day.
