ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The satisfaction that accomplishes the successful completion of any task would be
incomplete without the mention of the people who make it possible and whose constant
guidance and encouragement crown all the efforts with success.

It is my privilege and pleasure to express my profound sense of respect, gratitude and

indebtedness to my guide Mr. S. PHANEENDRA, Assistant Professor, Department of
Mechanical, BITS, for his constant guidance, inspiration, and constant encouragement throughout this
project work.

I wish to express my deep gratitude to Mr. S. PHANEENDRA, Assistant Professor

and HOD, Department of Mechanical, BITS, Narsampet for his cooperation and
encouragement, in addition to providing necessary facilities throughout the project work

I sincerely extend my thanks to Dr. V.S. HARIHARAN, Principal, BALAJI

INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE, Narsampet.

I would like to thank all the staff and all my friends for their good wishes, their helping
hand and constructive criticism, which led the successful completion of this project.

I am immensely indebted to my parents, brother and sisters for their love and
unshakable belief in me and the understanding and ever-decreasing grudges for not spending
time more often. I will now, since the excuse is in the process of vanishing by being printed on
these very pages.

Finally, I thank all those who directly and indirectly helped me in this regard I
apologize for not listing everyone here.

ABSTRACT
The design of a power scooter involves the creation and development of a motorized two-wheeled vehicle
designed for personal transportation. This abstract outlines the key considerations and aspects involved in
the design process. The abstract begins by highlighting the purpose of the power scooter design, which is
to provide individuals with a convenient, efficient, and sustainable mode of transportation. It emphasizes
the need for a compact and manoeuvrable vehicle that can navigate urban environments effectively.
Efficiency and sustainability are core factors in the design. The abstract emphasizes the integration of
electric or combustion engine technologies, with a focus on optimizing energy consumption, reducing
emissions, and maximizing range. Consideration is given to selecting appropriate power systems, such as
batteries or fuel systems, to ensure efficient operation. Safety is a primary concern in the design process.
The abstract stresses the inclusion of features like robust construction, reliable braking systems, and
adequate lighting for visibility. Ergonomics and user comfort are also addressed, with attention given to
adjustable seating positions, intuitive controls, and suspension systems to enhance the riding experience.
The abstract acknowledges the importance of prototyping and testing during the design process. Physical
and virtual prototypes are used to evaluate the scooter's performance, stability, and durability. Iterative
improvements are made based on test results and user feedback, leading to refinements in design and
functionality. Aesthetics play a significant role in the design of a power scooter. The abstract mentions the
importance of creating an appealing and marketable product by considering factors such as color schemes,
materials, and finishing touches that align with current design trends and the brand's identity. In
conclusion, the design of a power scooter involves considering factors like efficiency, sustainability,
safety, ergonomics, and aesthetics. The aim is to create a compact, efficient, and visually appealing
vehicle that provides individuals with a convenient and enjoyable mode of personal transportation.
