INTERPRETATION
1. A "DETECTED" results indicate strongly of a probable SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus infection. However, it should be correlated with clinical
symptoms, exposure and travel history.

2. A "NOT DETECTED" result indicates the absence of SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus specific genes in samples/swab provided. This may due to
early or late stage of infection. However, if there is a strong suspicion of COVID-19 disease, repeat sampling (NPS and OPS) and testing is
advised.

METHODOLOGY
Multiplex Real-time Reverse Transcriptase PCR system is used to screen SAR-CoV-2, which targeting several Coronavirus specific genes
such a E, RdRp, N and ORF1ab.

LIMITATION
A "NOT DETECTED" results do not exclude the presence of pathogens which may be in numbers below the detection limit of the assay.

INCONCLUSIVE
Whereby it detects one gene which requires re-swabbing.
