Reforma pensional: así es la propuesta del

bono pensional para mujeres con hijos

The draft of the pension reform, which will be presented this Thursday before the
Congress of the Republic, has already been shared with the unions, labor unions
and experts, by the Ministry of Labor.
Among the novelties, the reform proposes a new savings fund and other special
conditions for women. In itself, a reduction in the number of minimum weeks is
sought.
As they explain, women "will be able to obtain the benefit of reducing the number of
weeks required for each live-born or adopted child by 50 weeks, up to a minimum of
1,150 weeks for a maximum of three children."
They clarify that the benefit will only be applicable to those who, after seeing the
actuarial system of equivalences exhausted, do not manage to complete the
requirement of the established minimum weeks. Please note that this option may not
be used for "additional increases to the minimum required weeks in order to increase
the replacement rate."
They would be entitled to receive the special old-age pension at any age, as long as
they have contributed the minimum number of weeks required.
The child's disability, whether physical or mental, must be duly qualified and be a
dependent person of the father or mother.

Renta Ciudadana 2023:

¿cómo saber si puede ser
beneficiado con el subsidio?
From the first week of April 2023, thousands of Colombians will be able to access
the Citizen Income program, which is an initiative of the National Government that
seeks to benefit those families that are registered in Sisbén IV or are in a situation of
extreme poverty.
The implementation of this program - included in the National Development Plan -
was approved on February 14 as an initiative that seeks to give a subsidy of 500,000
pesos to families that meet the requirements determined by the Government.
According to the Department of Social Prosperity, the entity will consider various
factors when determining the amount of the transfer to households, such as the
categorization in the Sisbén IV survey, family composition, belonging to the
indigenous population or if they were victims of displacement forced, and the
geographic location of the family.
As a result, the Government will increase the amounts assigned to people located in
the 466 municipalities of Colombia with high and very high prevalence of child
malnutrition.
Likewise, it will privilege mothers who are heads of households with children under 6
years of age.
It should be noted that in a press release published on February 15, one day after
the approval of the program, the General Director of Social Prosperity, Cielo
Rusinque, explained that "it is a non-assistance bet on benefits for the population
that most need it and who is in a state of vulnerability and extreme poverty. The spirit
of the Citizen Income is to be a system that allows dignifying this type of benefits and
aid, to the extent that it is about income that is above the poverty line.
