We are all sinners but Christ died in our place Jesus Christ was despised and rejected by men He was a
man of sorrows and acquainted with grief He was despised

The Jews were expecting a messiah they were expecting someone like David who was famous for killing
Goliath However Jesus Christ did not meet their expectations for a messiah

His suffering for us was misunderstood On the day of crucifixion the Jews said let the Christ the king of
Israel come down now from the cross that we may see and believe (Mark 1532) In the night when there
was darkness in the whole world some of them believed that surely He is the son of God Every one of us
is a sinner All we like sheep have gone astray Though some claim to be good but the Bible makes us
understand that we are all sinners The bible say when we are yet sinners Christ died for us Christ died in
our place God does not look upon sin lightly Jesus was punished for our sin He came to serve and gave
his life as a ransom for many Jesus was a good shepherd who searches for the lost sheep
He borne our griefs he carried our sorrows he was crushed for our iniquities and upon him was the
chastisement that brought us peace The almighty God on him the iniquity of us all He died for our sin
and for our salvation

Jesus Christ is our divine substitute he substitute his life for us He died that we may have life and that
we have it more abundantly

Jesus came and took upon himself all our sins our sins wave transformed to Him He because our
substitute He paid it all
