1. Registration

1.1 The registration fee is ₹199 per student.

1.2 Students will be allowed to register for ₹179 till 25th September, 2022, as part of an early-bird
discount.
1.3 Deadline for registration and payment is 3rd November, 2022.
1.4 Procedure for individual registration:
• Visit https://www.ecosocsrcc.com/NEO
• Click on 'Register'.
• Login to Unstop (formerly Dare2Compete) using your Facebook/Google/LinkedIn account.
You may also create a new account.
NATIONAL • Enter your personal credentials along with your School Name and Class and click on
'Submit'. The opportunity is open to the class twelve batch of 2022.
ECONOMICS • Enter additional details like City, State and Referral Code (if any), and click on 'Submit’.
OLYMPIAD • Choose the suitable payment method before clicking on 'Pay' to make the payment of the
registration fees.
2022 • On making the payment, you will get a payment confirmation e-mail.
• After making the payment, you can access the Sample Question Booklet on your
Unstop dashboard on the NEO page, shown as the first round, by clicking on
Discover the ‘Brief/Case’.
Economist in you! • Further instructions regarding the Olympiad will be conveyed to you a few days before
the Olympiad over e-mail, so we request you to check your e-mail on a regular basis to
receive the updates.

1.5 Students seeking partial or complete Financial Aid are requested to reach out to us with their

1.6 The Olympiad shall be conducted online and the details about the platform and login credentials
will be conveyed over e-mail to the candidates a few days before the examination.

2. Structure of NEO

2.1 The examination consists of two rounds:

Keshav Khemka Preliminary Round for Classes XI and XII: 6th November, 2022
(President) Final Round for Classes XI and XII : 13th November, 2022

2.2 Both the rounds will be conducted online. All candidates are requested to make timely
arrangements for a laptop/desktop suitable for answering the examination. We strongly

discourage the use of a smartphone to take the examination.

+91 88001 45508 2.3 Participants are expected to have an adequately strong internet connection. The
organisation will not be responsible for any connectivity issues faced by the student during
the examination.

2.4 The examination is an assessment of students’ analytical and problem-solving skills.

There is no fixed syllabus for the examination. The preliminary round will be divided into 4
sections covering logical reasoning, economic concepts, data interpretation and case studies.

2.5 No prior preparation is required for the Olympiad. However, a Sample Question Booklet
will be shared after the student completes the registration procedure for them to get a brief
idea of what the Olympiad entails of.

2.6 Once the examination starts, the candidate can only leave the page at the termination of
the stipulated time.
