The analysis and discussion of the results of our interview allowed us to have a close view of

the reality of the financing methods available to start ups such as crowdfunding, which
represent the financing method most used by start up, therefore we have tried to find out the
experience of start-ups with the crowdfunding as a financing option, its benefits and
drawbacks for those start-ups and whether there are any other financing methods that they
prefer besides crowdfunding
In summary, a startup goes through several stages as it grows. The more it evolves, the greater
the need for financing becomes and thus the more the amounts it wishes to raise become
important. Therefore, there are different sources of funding accessible at each stage of startup
development.
Future research may expand the results of this study beyond the start-up population we have
chosen. Researchers may also be interested in examining the start-up ecosystem as a whole,
which, according to Tripathi, Seppänen, Boominathan, Oivo, & Liukkunen (2018), brings
together the following seven elements: the entrepreneur, the factors support, demography,
market, education, human capital and financing.
