On behalf of the entire team, I/we hereby confirm our participation in the 7 A-Side Football PE
Day Cup and certify the correctness and accuracy of the information provided above. I/we also certify
that all the players are mentally and physically fit to join the tournament. I/we also understand
that participation in this activity is entirely voluntary and requires participants to abide by the
applicable rules and standards of conduct. I/we voluntarily waive any and all claims against the
organizers, the local council, the activity coordinators, employees, and other related parties, for any
untoward incident causing losses, damages and/or injuries, which may occur beyond control in the
course of our participation after all precautionary measures and exhaustive efforts have been
taken by the authorities. In case of any emergency involving our players, I/we hereby give
permission to the designated medical provider to secure proper treatment for our athletes.

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
This tournament shall be played in accordance with applicable rules of FIFA, PFF and LFA except as
specifically modified by these rules.

2. TEAM REGISTRATION AND ROSTER.


- Each team can register a minimum of seven (7) and maximum of ten (15)
players for all category.
- Team registration starts at 6:15 AM.
- A player may only register and play for ONE team only. No player should switch
from one team/age group to another for that particular day.
- Teams are required to submit a properly accomplished and duly signed Official
Registration and Waiver Form indicating all the players’ full names and dates of
birth which shall be submitted on or before the day of the tournament. Only
players listed in the registration form shall be allowed to play during the
tournament.
- The tournament commissioner reserves the right to accept or deny any team/player
application.
- The organizers will not be held responsible for any expense incurred by any
team/club due to game postponement caused by weather or other
uncontrollable situations.
3. ELIGIBILITY OF PLAYERS
- Official list of players shall NOT be changed upon start of games.

4. UNIFORM
- Teams are encouraged to wear their uniform.
- Shin guards are part of the uniform; therefore, all players must wear shin guards or
your team shall be playing at your own risk.

5. TOURNAMENT RULES
a. Referees
- All referees for this tournament are appointed by the Tournament organizers
- All decisions of the referees shall be final and no protest or appeal can be
made in relation to an interpretive decision of the referees.
b. Game Duration
- All games shall be played 10 minutes straight per half.
- Match duration shall be included in the game schedule.
c. Playing Rules
- 7-aside Football
- NO off-side rule
- Throw-in shall be used after sideline out-of-bounds. No goals are allowed on
throw-in (Directly) unless touched by another player.
- Goalkeeper: Goalkeeper can pick up the ball during a back pass inside the
penalty box but should put the ball back in play within 6 seconds. Goalkeepers
cannot score a goal from:
a. directly by throwing the ball (from a pick up)
b. kicking the ball (from inside the penalty box)
c. Goal Kicks, unless touched by another player.
- Walk over: Teams not in the playing field 5 minutes before their scheduled
match losses by forfeiture and the match will be awarded to the opponent.
- Yellow card: One (1) yellow card in a single match – caution. Two (2)
accumulated yellow cards in the same match equals a red card resulting in a
suspension from the current match and the next match.
d. Players
- Each team may register a maximum of 15 players but only 7 can play at the same
time.
- A minimum of 5 players is needed to start a game. A team with less than 5
players forfeits the game.
- Switching, adding, or change of player will not be allowed after first official game.
e. Substitution
- IN and OUT substitutions are allowed.

6. SHOOT OUT
- In the event of a tie in the semi-finals and championship matches, the penalty
kick procedure will be used. Three (3) kicks for each team and then sudden
death. If all kickers are used, each team may choose the kicker from the 7
players.
- ONLY 7 players inside the field (6 field players and 1 goalkeeper) are allowed to kick.
- The 7 players must be registered in the official list.
- If the event of still another tie after 7 kicks, sudden death will apply.

7. PROTEST OR APPEALS
- All protest shall be made only by the registered captain. A written protest,
addressed to the Tournament Commissioner shall be filed within 10 minutes
after the end of the game under protest. Only protests regarding players’
eligibility or suspended players shall be entertained. Protest against referees’
decision will not be entertained.
- All games, previous and succeeding, participated by a disqualified player or
team shall be considered a win by forfeit in favor of the opponent.

8. REMINDERS
- While we encourage competitiveness and quality games, please remind our
players that this is a FUN cup and therefore should be a fun and memorable
experience for all players. Please advise your players to respect other teams
and to refrain from pushing, kicking and/or bullying other participants of the
tournament.
- Teams are advised to look after their personal belongings. The organizers
shall not be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged properties.
- Teams will be held responsible for the management of their own trash.
- Teams are advised to bring their own drinking water.
