Introductionmy time at the MVIC.

Alaminos MVIC is a government-operated facility tasked with conducting

comprehensive inspections of motor vehicles to ensure their roadworthiness and
compliance with safety standards. As an OJT trainee at the MVIC, my primary
objective was to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle
inspection procedures and regulations.
The importance of vehicle inspections cannot be understated, as they play a
crucial role in maintaining road safety and minimizing accidents caused by faulty
vehicles. The MVIC serves as a vital institution responsible for upholding these
standards, making it an ideal setting for me to learn and contribute to this
significant endeavor.
With this in mind, I embarked on my OJT journey with enthusiasm and eagerness
to learn. I was aware that this opportunity would provide me with invaluable
insights into the intricate processes involved in vehicle inspections, as well as the
chance to develop essential skills and competencies required in the automotive
industry.
Throughout the OJT period, I had the privilege of working alongside experienced
inspectors who guided me through the daily operations and imparted their
knowledge and expertise. This mentorship allowed me to observe and participate
in various activities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the inspection
procedures and the meticulous attention to detail required.
As I progressed in my training, I became increasingly involved in assisting with
vehicle inspections, conducting visual assessments, and utilizing specialized
tools and equipment to evaluate critical components. The hands-on experience
allowed me to grasp the significance of each inspection checkpoint and its
contribution to ensuring the overall safety and roadworthiness of vehicles.
Moreover, I had the opportunity to interact directly with vehicle owners, further
enhancing my interpersonal and communication skills. Engaging with diverse
individuals and addressing their concerns regarding inspection procedures and
requirements enabled me to develop a customer-centric approach and foster
effective communication.
Undoubtedly, the OJT journey at Alaminos MVIC was not without its challenges. I
encountered situations that demanded quick thinking, problem-solving skills, and
the ability to remain calm under pressure. These challenges tested my
adaptability and resilience, pushing me to further refine my skills and develop a
proactive mindset.
Looking back, my OJT experience at Alaminos MVIC was an invaluable chapter
in my professional development. It provided me with an immersive learning

environment that fostered practical knowledge, technical skills, and a deep

understanding of compliance and safety regulations. I am confident that the
insights gained and the competencies honed during this period will serve as a
solid foundation for my future endeavors in the automotive industry.

OBJECTIVE

 Gain Practical Knowledge: The primary objective of my OJT was to

acquire practical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle
inspection procedures. I aimed to understand the step-by-step process of
inspecting vehicles, identifying potential safety hazards, and assessing
vehicle conditions accurately.

 Develop Technical Skills: I aimed to develop technical skills related to

vehicle inspections. This included learning how to use specialized tools
and equipment, conducting visual inspections, and understanding the
functionality of various vehicle components. I sought to enhance my ability
to detect defects, identify non-compliance issues, and make accurate
assessments.
 Understand Compliance and Regulations: One of the key objectives was
to gain a thorough understanding of safety regulations and compliance
requirements related to vehicle inspections. I aimed to familiarize myself
with relevant laws, standards, and guidelines, ensuring that vehicles met
the necessary legal requirements for roadworthiness and safety.
 Enhance Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial in the
automotive industry, especially when dealing with vehicle owners and
colleagues. I aimed to improve my communication skills by interacting with
vehicle owners, explaining inspection procedures, addressing their
concerns, and conveying information clearly and concisely.

cultivate professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. I strived to
demonstrate a positive attitude, take initiative, and contribute effectively to
the team. I aimed to develop a sense of responsibility, reliability, and the

 Adaptability and Problem-Solving Skills: OJT experiences often present
challenges that require adaptability and problem-solving skills. I aimed to
develop these skills by overcoming obstacles, managing difficult
situations, and finding innovative solutions to problems that arose during
vehicle inspections or customer interactions.
By accomplishing these objectives, I sought to maximize the learning
opportunities presented during my OJT at Alaminos MVIC. These objectives
were designed to provide me with a comprehensive understanding of vehicle
