(PEO)
A graduate of B.S. Criminology program is expected to:
1. Pass the licensure examination for Criminologists
2. Practice criminology as a profession

fields of criminalistics, law enforcement administration,
criminal sociology, criminal law and procedure, correctional

Course Description
The course includes fundamental of traffic safety education,
enforcement, engineering techniques in vehicular and
pedestrian direction and control, techniques in point and inter-
sectional vehicle-volume determination for emergency and
priority control, study of different traffic decrees, codes in
national and local levels; techniques in the preparation of
selective enforcement, plans and policies for special and
emerging traffic situations; methods and procedures in the use
of the hand signals and electrical signal lights; techniques in
accident investigation; determination of reaction time and brake
in time and application of scientific aids in hit and run accidents
Course Outcomes
After successful completion of the course, you are expected to:
1. Explain the rationale of traffic management affairs
2. Discuss the different traffic law enforcement action and the
corresponding applied fines and penalties thereof
3. Conceptualize and familiarize on various psychological behavior
and ethical standard of a traffic law enforcer/civilian traffic law
enforcer
4. Perform and demonstrate all aspects of traffic arrest and citations
on the erring drivers and pedestrians
5. Develop their capability to employ their knowledge gained in
their chosen field of endeavor after graduation in order to be able
to contribute to the over all task of supervision and handling the
affairs of traffic management
