Dear Chairperson Tengco;

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you with utmost
respect and urgency to appeal for your assistance regarding an issue my daughter, ALLANA
EUNICE C. ESPALDON, is currently facing, which pertains to her graduation from
Colegio de Santa Teresa de Avila, Fairview, Quezon City.

As an exceptional student at Colegio de Santa Teresa de Avila, my daughter has diligently

pursued her studies, maintaining an exemplary academic record throughout her educational
journey. However, she has encountered an unforeseen obstacle that is impeding her timely
graduation. The specific requirement that remains unfulfilled is the completion of an on-the-
job training in a five-star hotel, a prerequisite mandated by the school for graduation.

Despite her relentless efforts, my daughter has been unable to secure an on-the-job training
opportunity at a suitable establishment within the required time frame. The unprecedented
circumstances brought about by the ongoing pandemic have severely impacted the
availability of such internships in the hospitality industry. Consequently, she finds herself in a
distressing situation, where all her hard work and dedication may go in vain if an alternative
solution is not identified. Nevertheless, she would still spend more time to seek for a five-star
hotel where she can render her on-the-job training requirement, thereby allowing her to
graduate by October 2023.

In light of the aforementioned circumstances, I would like to express my gratitude for the
PAGCOR scholarship generously provided to my daughter throughout her academic pursuit.
I understand the significance of this scholarship in enabling her to achieve her educational
goals. In view of this, I sincerely appeal for your consideration to ensure that the time
allowance granted does not adversely affect her scholarship. Your understanding and support
in this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it will allow her to continue receiving the
financial assistance that has been instrumental in her academic success thus far.

In conclusion, I would like to emphasize the exceptional dedication and commitment my

daughter has demonstrated throughout her academic journey. I firmly believe that granting
this appeal shall reward her perseverance but also recognize the extenuating circumstances
that have hindered her ability to fulfill the specific on-the-job training requirement.

I have attached the necessary documentation, including official letters from Colegio de Santa
Teresa de Avila and other relevant documents, to support our appeal. I kindly request you to
review our plea toward this concern.
