RECOVERY PLAN

CRITICAL INCIDENT RECOVERY PLAN

Scope: This plan is applicable during and after occurrence of any critical incident
inside the factory affecting one or many individuals of the factory.

Responsibility: Head H.R & Admin are responsible for co-ordination and
initiation of implementing the plan.

1. On occurrence of any critical incident, Safety Supervisor shall ensure that


the person or group receives first aid and necessary treatment with respect
to incident occurred.
2. Safety Manager shall submit a first information report to legal authorities &
HR & Adm department.
3. HR & Adm heads shall discuss the event in detail with the individual or
group to understand exactly the occurrence of incident and know the root
cause of the same in a confidential atmosphere.
4. They shall try to defuse the trauma experienced by persons who
encountered the incident & ensure that they get free treatment for any
injuries & provide paid leaves to the individual.
5. In case of any disability or fatal accident of individual, organization
provides financial aid as applicable under Workmen’s compensation act.
6. He shall make persons aware that the whole organization is in support with
them and feels the grief of trauma faced by them.
7. The individual or group is given special treatment in terms of lodging and
boarding facility after the incident till he recovers back.
8. HR Head shall plan a session for all the employees to share the experience
and provide inputs to employees to overcome the emotional effects of
incident as faced by persons who encountered the same.
9. Head HR shall continue counseling sessions if required on ongoing basis
till he is sure that individual has come out from trauma.
