Chief Perez, Sgt. Livingston, Officer Anderson and
the BPD for supporting our youth.
Mrs. Kline's Grade 6 students used a one-page project to learn and celebrate
AAPI Month. They researched a person or event, explained the
significance of their choices, and described the lasting impact on American
society and culture. Students also used Chinese words to summarize
the key characteristics of their chosen figure. From civil rights activists and
politicians, to athletes, musicians, scientists and astronauts, students created
a very rich and empowering representation.
