Terms and conditions:
1. Selection Procedure: The applications received shall be screened and only the shortlisted
candidates will be called for Personal Interview.
2. The application in any other forms like email, post etc will not be accepted / entertained.
3. List of shortlisted candidates for attending personal interview will be displayed on
ICAR-NIVEDI website. No separate call letters will be sent.
4. Any changes with regard to selection /schedule of Interview will be notified at the Institute’s
website only.
5. The shortlisted candidates must bring duly filled application form, original certificates along
with one set self attested photocopies for verification at the time of Interview.
6. Candidates without original certificates/documents will not be allowed to attend the
Interview.
7. Separate application should be submitted for each post. Applications not in prescribed
proforma, incomplete and unsigned applications, application without photograph are liable
to be rejected.
8. The candidate should hold Degree certificate (at least Provisional certificate), if applicable
in original in respect of Graduation, Post Graduation, Ph.D. (website results/Awaiting for
results candidates will not be allowed/considered).
9. The above positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project except
Young Professional (I & II). The tenure of Young Professional (I & II) will be for a period of
one year or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier from the date of joining
which may be extendable for two more years (01 year at a time) subject to requirement
of the services of the Young Professional in the Institute and satisfactory performance of
the candidate.
10. There is no provision for absorption / re-employment after termination of the contract. The
service of person, who engaged, will automatically stand terminated with the termination
of the contract. selected candidate can be discontinued owing to administrative reasons at
any time by issue of one-month notice. The selected candidate may also leave the
assignment on their own, by giving one-month notice.
11. Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications
from candidates.
12. The Income Tax or any other tax liable to be deducted as per the prevailing rules will be
deducted at source before effecting payment of monthly salary.
13. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.
14. No TA, DA will be paid for attending the interview.
15. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
16. Vacancies may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Institute.
17. The Director, ICAR-NIVEDI reserves the right to fill up all the posts or any of them without
assigning any reason thereof.
18. The decision of the Director, ICAR-NIVEDI is final and binding in all aspects.
