Topic level is same as UPSC exam. Each essay consist of 60 marks *Questions pattern will be Same as UPSC Prelims Downloaded from www.jmientrance.com Page t of 3 Follow instagram.com/@jmientranceImportant Notes: a) The Entrance Test will be held at 10 centres** Delhi, Jammu, Srinagar, Lucknow, Guwahati, Malappuram (Kerela), Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Patna. b) The Written test would comprise General Studies (objective type) on UPSC's model (in English/Hindi/Urdu) and Essay writing in English/Hindi/Urdu to test candidates' knowledge of general awareness, logical thinking, reasoning, and comprehension. The total duration of the examination would be of three hours. c) There would be negative marking for objective type questions in the test. One-third of the marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. 2 The entrance test paper would be divided into two papers- Paper! and Paper2. Paper 1 would consist of OMR based objective type questions. There would be 100 questions and the total marks for this section would be 100(100x 1=100). The students may take the question papers with them. Total time will be 1 hour. e) Paper2 would consist of Essay writing for which the total allotted marks would be 60. The candidates would be required to write one essay(60x1=60). The total time allotted for the paper2 would be two hours. However, the OMR sheet would be collected after one hour. Time allotted for writing the essays will be 02 hours. The students cannot take paper2 with them. f) The essay of only top 800 students will be evaluated based on MCQ test's mark (Paper 1). g) The total marks for the Interview/Personality test would be 40 (Forty). h) In case of tie, the higher marks in the interview would be taken as the basis of selection.
