TESTIMONY AS AN ALS PASSER

I am Dennis T. Monteza Jr. currently enrolled as 3rd year student taking up

Bachelor of Science in Real State Management at Saint Paul School of Professional
Studies and at the same an employee at FPOSI Palo, Leyte.

I am very grateful that I am one of the beneficiaries of this program by the

Department of Education (DepEd). This program has helped me in all ways especially in
pursuing my future career goals. At first, I was doubting my capabilities if I can finish my
studies. But there is a glimpse of hope that I’ll be graduating. People around me showed
their support towards my studies. It was not an easy go lucky journey for I have to cope
up with the lessons, quizzes and examinations given by my teachers. Every session as
an ALS learner was a difficult time for me but because of the constant guidance of our
ALS teacher every lesson was made easier for each of us. They always guide us on how
to become a better version of ourselves. Through this ALS education program my vision
in life vividly comes into reality. It paved way on pursuing my Bachelors Degree. Because
of my ALS experiences being a working student is much easier and convenient.

Words of gratitude wouldn’t suffice how thankful I am to all the people who helped
me in my endeavors. To my mentors who never get tired of teaching all the lessons may
it be a classroom setting or real-life situation and for my family for being my constant
believer. The legacy that this program gave to us will never be forgotten. In all my success
in life this played an important role. Because without this I would never be in this place
where I am now.

Thank you so much DepEd for this meaningful and life-changing opportunity may
you continue this kind of programs for all the students who are dreaming of a brighter
future.
