Dear Maam;

Greetings!

This is our second request for SHUTTLE RATE INCREASE due to the prevailing increase of fuel in the
market. Last February 2021, we sent you an email requesting your good office for shuttle rate increase of
Php1,000.00 (One thousand pesos only) however until this point in time, we are still waiting for your
approval.

To reiterate, as per our Service Contract Agreement Terms of Reference (TOR) page no. 6 under Item no.
8. (SHUTTLE SERVICE RATES AND PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS), letter f ; states that A
review of the shuttle rate may be requested by either party in case the price of fuel increases/decreases by
at least ten percent (10%) from the fuel reference price of this contract, which is Php33.75/liter for diesel.

To date, fuel pump price is already Php47.00/liter (diesel), a difference of fourteen pesos(Php14.00) per
liter already based on Php33.75. This is more than 10% fuel increase based on our contract reference
value.

The average fuel consumption of fuel from IMI to Alabang are 80 liters per day per bus per day please see
below’s computation for your reference;

Fuel reference based on contract Php33.75 x 80 liters per day per bus = 2,700.00
Current fuel rate 47.00 x 80 liters per day per bus = 3,760.00

market.

Another heavy load that we are facing right now are also the CALAX toll fees amounting to 2,600.00 per
day for 10 units.

For the sake of IMI employees on time arrival at work and on time departure from work to their respective
homes, we go through via CALAX because ETON route nowadays is also experiencing very heavy traffic
so CALAX is now the best way for convenience of IMI employees. But CALAX is not indicated in our
contract.

We also would like to reiterate that we are paying Php10,000.00 per bus per month in our Alabang
Terminal to provide all IMI employees a smooth and safe location to avail the shuttle service. This is our
prerogative however we are so much affected by this frequent fuel increase in the market and we extremely
suffer big losses nowadays.
As your business partner through thick and thin… we truly value our partnership. However we could no
longer sustain the situation so we hereby call your attention. Please hear our cry……
