Dear Parents and Learners

As we come to the end of Term 1, I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to
everyone for their hard work and contributions towards Curro Roodeplaat. The past few months
have been incredibly productive, and it is thanks to the efforts of our dedicated learners, supportive
parents, and committed staff that we have achieved so much.
I would like to extend a special congratulations to our Internal Orators winners, who participated in
the competition last week. It was truly a pleasure to witness the talent and passion displayed by our
learners, and we were all enlightened by the variety of topics that were discussed.
I would also like to thank Gideons International for their recent visit to our school, where they
distributed Bibles to all our Grade 8 learners. Their amazing work in distributing scriptures to over
200 countries is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for their support.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone once again for their hard work and dedication over the past
term. From the learners to the parents, everyone played their part in ensuring that we had a
successful term. I wish you all a blessed holiday and a well-deserved break. I look forward to
welcoming you all back warmly on Wednesday,12 April 2023.
