Question 1. What is going to be the technology of the future? Why?

I believe that the technology of the future will be wearable AR. Although wearable AR
exists, it is not compact nor does it work all that well. However, I believe that this won’t last long
and that it will affect the future of our lives. I think this will be the technology of the future
because it is currently in development and is already anticipated to improve many jobs around
the world.

Question 2. What job are you going to do that uses this technology? How will you use it?

AR is a technology that will create many jobs as well as improve the ones there already
are. One job that may come with AR is designing projects in an AR environment. This would
mean the engineers could view a building's blueprint in 3d as if it was right in front of them
rather than looking at a 2d surface on a page or a laptop. This can improve precision when
building and make the job less labour-intensive.

Question 3. How will this technology impact society?

This technology will significantly impact society as it will be wearable and easily
accessible. One type of AR device that is currently in development is AR glasses. These will
affect the lives of staff, students, and civilians alike. It could be using this product to navigate the
streets, do work while walking downtown, or even watch your favourite show while grabbing a
cup of coffee. As this concept is likely going to be integrated into glasses they will be readily
available and easy to use so many simple people will be able to use these to drastically change
their lives. AR glasses could become the next big thing that everyone has, similar to the iPhone.
