Sequences

Sequence is a controlled way of running control of a specific operation

automatically. The sequences uses a set of SW modules.
The main module is the Sequence administrator (seqadm).

This module will start, stop, halt and terminate the sequence
The administrator will keep track of the steps to be executed.
It works together with a number of seqstep-modules and if necessary
seqrecip modules for the sequence order

The sequence administrator (seqadm) module

The module can be controlled from the operator menu (internal) or from
terminals (external)

START: Starts the sequence from the beginning

TERMINATE: Stops the sequence
HOLD: Freeze the sequence at the step in
action
CONTINUE: Continue the sequence after a hold
command
FORCE NEXT: Force the module to start the
next step
Set jump ID: Jump to the specified step

Sequence administration symbol

The sequence administration may have symbols showing the

sequence progress. The colour of the border will display status:
Green active
White completed
Yellow on hold
Red in error

It will also display the active step

The administrator communicates with two other modules through the

prosess terminals Modepar and Pecipepar

The Prosess terminals Modepar and Start

Recipepar uses a two-way
communication between the sequence
administrator (seqadm) and the
sequence step (seqstep) and sequence ModePar

The sequence step (seqstep) module

For each operation in a sequence, called a sequence step there will be a

seqstep module. Each step will have an unique identity (step-ID)
The sequence steps are connected to the sequence administrator through a
terminal called modepar. The step sends a signal out to logic or directly to a
module. It will be controlled by conditions and/or time. When the step is
completed it will send either OK or NOT OK back to the administrator, which
will decide next action.

Seqstep has several output terminals

PulseOut: Pulse out when active step. Pulse
length dependent of parameter
ActiveOut: High as long as the step is active
NotActiveOut: Low as long as the step is active
LatchOut: High when the step activates. Is high
until the sequence is finished

The sequence receipt (seqrecip) module

The sequence may have a set of receipts or menus to be used with

the sequence steps. The same steps put together in a different
order, make a new operation. This is built into the sequence
receipt module.

Example can be start a pump, stop a pump, start two pumps, stop
two pumps and so on.

Which receipt to use is communicated to the sequence

administrator, which in turn get the contents of the administrator
through the Recipepar terminal.

The parameter page of the sequence administrator will display the

active/or last run sequence.
