Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958. His father
was a crane operator and his mother was a housewife.

His parents loved music. His dad played the guitar and his mother sang
and played the piano.

Michael had five brothers and three sisters. He was the third youngest.
The Jacksons were poor and lived in a small house with two bedrooms for
eleven people.

They formed a band called the Jackson 5. After this, he sang alone.

He had three children. He was also famous for changing his appearance.
He died of a heart attack on June 25, 2009. He was fifty years old.
