13th bonus activity
Eng&teawithMsCris
DISCLAIMER
This module is a compilation of activities that can be done conveniently on the go
for English Society Club in school. The activities are planned in a simple manner
to avoid excessive time and resources consumption in search for materials, as the
materials needed are easily available in school. The other reason why this module
contains such simple activities is to make it accessible across the school
regardless of where you are. Designed in a minimalist manner, the materials are
printer friendly in a4 size, and also super ink-saving, so printing in multiple
amounts won’t be a problem!
However, there are several suggestions that teachers can use to upgrade or
improvise the activities should you have the time and better resources. The upside
of this module is that the activities are totally expandable based on your
creativity, or just take it as it is! It also comes with a bonus 13th activity, just in
case you lost count (ha!) or you want to do something for your English related
program.
Although most of the activities are planned by yours truly, the materials are not.
They are compilations of various sources from creators who distributed them for
fair use, and only for the distribution of personal use and not commercial. Hence,
the credits go to the rightful owners and just like their materials, my module is
used for the sole purpose of sharing within the teaching community and by no
means are allowed to gain any monetary profit.
Now that that’s all cleared up, I hope this module can be of some use for you
busy teachers out there and happy teaching!

3. Teacher lists down things that pupils suggested
based on what they can or cannot bring with them

to the pupils).
4. Based on the list, pupils then have to recognise the
pattern and the group that manages to guess what the
criteria is wins the round.
5. The list can be as long as possible until someone
guesses correctly. Repeat the game in a few rounds.
e.g.:
Teacher only accepts suggestions that starts with 'l': lemon, lamp, laptop, etc. 'Chair', 'hat', 'sunbblock'
are rejected.
Pupils will have to guess the criteria, which are words that start with 'l'.
Materials
-
Ideas
The criteria can also be of different aspects: syllable counts, specific amount of letters in
a word (e.g. 4 letter words), the initial, median, or last letter of the words are the same,
etc..
