ACTIVITY 1 – VERB CLASSIFICATION

Classify the bolded verbs into: infinitive, imperative, future simple tense, modal verb.

TEXT 1 – ANGER MANEGEMENT

If you tend to be angry at small provocations and

remain irritated all the time, introspect and do

something about controlling your anger in a

reasonable way.

You should know ( _________________) how to

release your anger. There are ways to deal with

Among others:

• Be quiet if you are angry. Better if you say nothing at all when you are mad. Counting before
speaking will help (__________________) you not say harsh words against anyone. Calm
yourself first before uttering words.

• Avoid people who make you angry. Try to control the situation. Never shout at

affected by the way they act against you.

• Understand the situation. If others are mean, there are some who are innocent. They may not
