Comparison of Honda CBR250RR SP vs Kawasaki Ninja 250 Engine Specifications

Sport fairing motorbikes with a 250 cc engine with a two-cylinder configuration are currently
enlivened by several manufacturers. The motorcycle manufacturers playing in this segment
include Honda with its newest product CBR250RR SP and also Kawasaki which relies on the
Ninja 250. This time I will provide a comparison of engine specifications between the Honda
CBR250RR SP and the Kawasaki Ninja 250.

 Price
The price comparison. The Honda CBR250RR is priced starting at IDR 61 million to
IDR 77 million. Meanwhile, the Kawasaki Ninja 250 is valued at around IDR 64 million
to IDR 77 million.
 Engine Performance
Both of these vehicles have the same engine capacity, which is 250 CC. but for
performance in terms of speed, the Kawasaki Ninja is superior. This is influenced by the
difference in the weight of the construction that is supported by the engine. CBR250 has
a total weight of 168 Kg, while the Kawasaki Ninja 250SP has a weight of 164 Kg.
 Engine Spesification
The newest CBR250RR SP relies on a Parallel Twin Cylinder engine with a capacity of
249.7 cc, DOHC, 4-stroke, 8-valve and liquid cooled. This machine with a diameter of
62.0 x 41.4 mm is capable of producing 41 PS of power at 13,000 rpm and 25 Nm of
torque at 11,000 rpm. Meanwhile, the Ninja 250 carries a Parallel Twin Cylinder engine
with 249 cc cubication, DOHC, 4-stroke, 8-valve and liquid cooling. Thanks to the
engine measuring 62.0 x 41.2 mm in diameter x steps, the maximum power output is 39
PS at 12,500 rpm and a peak torque of 23.5 Nm at 10,000 rpm.
