    The readings for the student's thesis were interesting and helped provide a clear perspective on each topic when taking notes. While a few things were not understood, most of the readings were concise. The student had not previously considered how context influences performance or the role of women in language, which was their favorite topic. Reflecting on these topics leads to understanding not just how language works, but the roles of senders and receivers and influencing factors.     I really enjoyed the readings, they were interesting and I actually thought it was a perfect

    topic for my thesis. I felt involved in the reading and taking notes as I went along helped me
    to have a clearer perspective on each topic.
    There are things I didn't understand and failed to capture, however, most things were very
    concise.
    I had never thought about how we perform according to the context, nor had I thought about
    the role of women in language (that topic was my favorite).
    I think that reflecting on these topics makes you go beyond, it is not only to know how
    language works, it is to know the role of each receiver and sender, the factors that influence
    it.
    I decided to add this small reflection to my evidence because I thought it would be a more
    complete task.
