The Raj Path is approx. 2-3 kms long 7. Another name for the Rajpath is Kartavya Path or Kingsway 8. The parade marches from the Rashtrapathi Bhavan to The India Gate and then to The Red Fort to host the flag 9. On this day, The President Addresses the Nation 10. Our chief guest for this year’s parade is Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, The President of EGYPT, that’s right Egypt 11. The most fascinating event is the “FLYPAST”, which involves the participation of over 41 Aircrafts which take-off from different centres to reach the Rajpath at a fixed time to show the India flag and more.
