Double Pipe press high

Dear Sirs,

It`s no problem to keep drain valve pos 431 open during normal navigation / sailing.
The engine driven pumps will obviously be positioned slightly higher than normal.

The reason for pressure in outer pipe is either leakage or blocked line-break valve.
We would recommend to check actual reason during next portstay / stop engine.

a) - All drain valves (431) closed and all check valves (430) open - P2 pressurised.
b) - Closed HCU valve pos. 430 - Drain pressure by alve pos 431 - Close valve 431.
c) - Check pressure in outer pipe on MOP.
c) - Return to a) position of all valves (430, 431) and repeat procedure HCU 2~12.

1) Pressure remain 1~3 Bar - Problem caused by blocked line-break valve.

2) Pressure increases to P2 pressure i.e. ~175 Bar - Problem is LAST pipe section.
