CORRELATION
Correlation is a statistical measure that expresses the extent to which two variables
are linearly related (meaning they change together at a constant rate).

The correlation coefficient describes how one variable moves in relation to

another. A positive correlation indicates that the two move in the same direction,
with a +1.0 correlation when they move in tandem. A negative correlation
coefficient tells you that they instead move in opposite directions.

1) t-test
A t-test is a type of inferential statistic used to determine if there is a significant
difference between the means of two groups, which may be related in certain
features.
The t-test is one of many tests used for the purpose of hypothesis testing in
statistics.
Types of t-tests
 One sample t-test
 Independent two-sample t-test
 Paired sample t-test

HYPOTHESIS TESTING

Hypothesis testing is run to determine whether a claim is true or not, given a

population parameter.
A test that is conducted to show whether the mean of the sample is significantly
greater than and  significantly less than the mean of a population is considered
a two-tailed test.
When the testing is set up to show that the sample mean would be higher or lower
than the population mean, it is referred to as a one-tailed test.
