Introduction
Topic 1: Weeds
When removing weeds manually, follow the procedure below:

1. Ensure that the gardening gloves are tightened around the wrist. Be careful of hazards in
the field when you are weed pulling.
2. You may also use a stool to sit on while pulling.
3. Grab and pull the weeds carefully. Avoid bending too much. Make sure that your body is
supported properly since you are using force in removing the weeds.
4. You may break up large clumps of soil by stabbing with your weeder.

In using a weed cutter or grass cutter, follow the steps below:

1. Ensure that you are wearing gardening gloves.

2. Take note however, that when you are using the cutter, it is highly likely that you will not
be able to remove the roots of the weed itself.
3. Before handling the grass cutter, ensure that this is in good condition.
4. Start the engine first when it is placed down.
5. Slowly pan the blades across the weeds in the field.
