Drills and ceremonies are about on how the military do the drills or on when they are going to hold a
ceremony. The Drill and Ceremonies course provides an in-depth introduction to drill and ceremonies.
The course concentrates on the elements of military drill, and describes individual and group precision
movements, procedures for saluting, drill, ceremonies, reviews, parades, and development of the
command voice. Marching with arms this is a drill where in you march on the spot by alternating your
knees up high and to aim your knees as high as your hips and do it alternately while you balance the
standing leg. The stated aim of drill is to “enable a commander or non – commissioned officer to move
his unit form one place to another in a disciplined and orderly mannered way. Drill and Ceremony has
always been a part of the Army it is one of the first things soldiers learn in the military. Manual of arm is
a drill in handling a rifle expertly by training by multiple repetitions. Facing with arms, facing to the flank
is a two count – movement for turning to one side or the other. The command is “Left, face’’ or “Right,
face”.
