14:51   Pitch eased out for batters, few demons in the

wicket

India 164-3 (40 ovs) vs Aus; Target: 444 | Scorecard

Welcome to the updates from the 5th and final day's play of the
WTC final between Australia and India at The Oval in London on
Sunday.

India need 280 for victory and with Virat Kohli and Ajinkya
Rahane set to come out to bat, India are in with a chance.

Kohli and Rahane stitched together a nice partnership of 71 to

keep India in the hunt. They staged a nice comeback after two
quick wickets, scoring 123 runs in 32.5 overs in the post tea-
session.

Kohli looked in good touch as he hit a fluent 44 from 60 balls,

while Rahane, battling a finger injury, was unbeaten on 20.

Australia's bowlers went nearly 20 overs without a wicket but they

will be hoping to strike early on Day 5 and dent India's hopes.

For India, if Kohli and Rahane play out the morning session, then
they could find themselves in the running for victory.

The pitch may offer something for the spinners but it looks like a
subcontinent track good enough for the batters to complete the
job.
