Doblo Multijet 1.

6L 2014
(Former Openreach Van)

Electrical Work

Essential
1. Rear windscreen wiper electrical supply
To operate on periodic sweep - wired in and connected to
independent illuminated switch on dashboard (right corner)

If possible, use rectangular illuminated rocker switch showing

green light

N.B. existing circular rocker switch is redundant. It used to

operate orange flashing lights on roof of van

2. Rear washer jet electrical supply

Wired in to washer switch on steering column (end of wiper stalk)

i.e. when the washer jet is operated for the front windscreen, the
rear washer jet will operate and the wiper will sweep at the same
time as the front wipers

3. Rear washer jet pipe work

Plumed in either to:

 dedicated water tank

 main tank under bonnet

N.B. a short length of pipe is already connected to the jet and can
be found above the NS rear light cluster

4. Trailer electrics
Wire up indicators / lights / break-lights / reversing light for tow bar
plug (wiring kit came with towbar supplier)

5. Heated rear screen function

Wired in and operated from independent illuminated switch on
dashboard (right corner)

If possible, use rectangular illuminated rocker switch showing red

light
Optional
6. Side lights / dipped headlights
The vehicle is fitted with running lights which are currently
switched off (from dash controls)

In this mode the side lights cannot be operated alone from the
steering column light control stalk, i.e. all lights – side lights /
dipped headlights come on together.

Is it possible to set up the light controls so that side lights come on

independent of the dipped headlights?

If necessary, the running lights could be controlled from the

unused circular illuminated rocker switch on dashboard (right
corner)

7. Seat belt alarm

Can this really annoying alarm be deactivated / turned down?
