First and foremost, what is virtue ethics? A moral theory called "virtue ethics" is
concerned with the moral worth or goodness of the person performing an action. It
concerns whether a person's behaviors are right or wrong. In virtue ethics,
emphasis is placed on a person's moral character, and virtuous behavior is
encouraged as a means of leading a moral and peaceful life. Therefore, virtue
ethics plays an important role in decision-making because, according to this theory,
moral behavior influences moral choices. It will also serve as a guide for us to
choose wisely, which would be beneficial. Therefore, it's important that every
choice made has a connection to everyone's wellbeing. Most of the time, we
consider what is best for us before making decisions; this way, we won't have
regrets. Each day we face new challenges, and the virtues we can show are bravery
and fairness. Decision-making is an everyday part of life. And before making a
decision, we should consider if it is right or wrong for us to provide someone with
the freedom to live a moral life. Making decisions might be challenging in some
situations, but we should always make wise choices.
