TOGETHER AS ONE
But God, who is rich in mercy, for
his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath
quickened us together with Christ, (by
grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us
up together, and made us sit together
in heavenly places in Christ Jesus
(Ephesians 2:4-6).

G od wants us to catch this message and take

it to the ends of the earth. He says, you that
were dead in trespasses and sin, has He quickened,
that is, made alive together with Christ. In other words,
when Jesus was on the Cross, we were united with Him
in His death. He died as “us” on the Cross. He was
“us” on the Cross. When He was crucified, we were
crucified in Him. When He died, we died. Hallelujah!
When He was buried, we were buried with Him.
When God raised Him back to life, we were raised
back to life. We’ve been raised up together and made
to sit together with Him in heavenly places. He has
become the head of the body; together, we’re now
Christ, because we died in Him, were buried in Him,
and were raised back to life in Him. Now we’re one

with Him!
The Bible says, “But he that is joined unto the
Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17). We’re joint-
heirs with Him (Romans 8:17). We’re together as one.
Hallelujah! Ephesians 1:22-23 says, “And hath put all
things under his feet, and gave him to be the head
over all things to the church, Which is his body, the
fulness of him that filleth all in all.”
He’s the one who fills everything (Ephesians 4:10),
yet His fullness is the Church, which is His body. We’re
His completeness, and we’re complete in Him: “For in
him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all
principality and power” (Colossians 2:9-10). Praise
God!

CONFESSION
I’ve been baptized into the body of Christ, brought
into union with divinity. When Christ was raised from
the dead, I was raised up together with Him. Now that
He’s seated on the throne, I’m seated together with
Him in the place of dominion, glory and authority.
Blessed be God!
