I choose word “tease” because my week and seminars were connected with these word.

I find
their meanings in 3 different dictionary: Merriam-webster, Collins dictionary, oxford learners
dictionary.

Collins dictionary

Merriam-webster

oxford learners
dictionary
First off all to compare these different dictionaries, there are lots of differences.
what part of speech is “tease” is written for all three dictionaries.
For webster and “oxford learners” verb is written in capital letters and near a
word, but in “Collins” dictionary it is written below and it is not noticeable.
But in “Collins” Is written word forms of “tease” but other two dictionaries not.
“Oxford learners” and “Collins” indicate which level is “tease”, but “Webster”
not.
“Webster” definition of the word is better than two others. Like thesis the
definition is given. It is more perceptible and eye better remembers.
Then I like “oxford learners” definition of “tease”. Because this definition is also
simple and understandable.
“Collins” definition is complex and cant remember it easily. It is confusing at the
same time.
