Gender
Using Independent T Test, the mean of male in math performance is 73.3333
and for female mean 72.4000 and the total mean 72. 8421. For the Physics
performance the male mean 70.0000 and female mean 69.9000 and the total
mean 69.9474. The standard deviation for math performance, the male
std=4.71699, female std=4.64758 and for total std= 4.57363. For Physics
performance standard deviation male std= 6.68954, female std= 8.18467 and the
total std= 7.30657 with the df=1 and significant value of .977 which implies that
there is no Significant difference in their performance according to gender.

Difference in the frequency of most difficult subject

The table above presence the frequency of the most difficult

mathematics subjects in the BSED math course as perceived by math
majors. The computed chi-square statistic (chi-square test of
goodness of fit) is 6. 545 df 4, p-value of <0.162. Since the p-value is
greater than 0.05, the null hypothesis is accepted. It can be
concluded that the frequency of the most difficult math subject is
equally distributed for students in the BSEd major in Math program.
This indicates that there is no significant difference in the perception
of students on which math subject is the most difficult one.
The table above presence the significant association between Year level
and subject preference of high school students. To determine
association between preferred subjects and year levels, the chi-square
test for association is used. The computed test statistic for chi-square
test of association is 6.375 df 2 with p-value of <0.041. Since p-value is
less than 0.05, the null hypothesis that year level and subject
preference of high school students are independent should be
rejected. The result shows that there is a significant association
between year level and subject preference.
