people like, find interesting, or dance to. Sound can be good, annoying, or frightening but music is
shaped by various sounds combined artistically. Music is an art and songs which we listen to are
nothing without music. An instrument is of no use if we cannot create music out of it. Music has
become a part of life.

Imagine a movie without background music . Imagine a birthday party, wedding, engagement,
farewell, fresher’s party, New year’s eve, or Christmas, without music. The songs themselves seem very
weird without music.

People prefer music when they are alone.

We love to groove to loud music with our friends.

Music therapy is used to treat disorders including cardiac conditions by lowering blood pressure
depression, autism by strengthening motor skills and improving communication for children and
young adults, substance abuse, and Alzheimer’s disease. It helps us psychologically since we can
observe our thoughts and emotions while listening to music. We can relate to ourselves while
listening to songs. It even helps to boost our memory. People generally fall asleep quickly while
listening to music which helps insomniacs in a great way.

Now why this music is so powerful??

Have you ever wondered??

Dopamine is also known as a feel-good hormone and this activates our brain’s pleasure and reward
system.

We can conclude by saying that music has been a part of human life for around 40,000 years. And it
will always be.

Because music has the power to heal us from physical pain, it has the power to heal us from
emotional pain, it has the power to heal us from the pain which we suffer due to loneliness, it has
the power to bring people together, it has the power to rejuvenate us after having a long tedious
day at work, it has the power to reduce the anxiety that we suffer due to our overthinking and fear,
it has the power to make people dream about an imaginary life which may or may not be possible
but makes them happy for the time being, it has the power to unite people and make them sing
together in aartis, choir, bands, weddings and so on. It has the power to raise goosebumps, it has the
power to make us patriotic, and it has the power to bring hidden talent among us.
