After R3.x RPS can be done virtual by Software

Note : In 1+1 configurations, you must inter-

connect the two MPT using a preassembled
RPS optical jumper and two optical SFP
Coupler 6, 7, 8 and 10,5 / 11 GHz modules (different lengths are available).

RPS cable is mandatory on MPT-HCv2 / XP /

HQAM 1+1 configurations when Channel
Spacing is 40 / 56 Mhz.
