Week 6 Learning Report

The operation and precautions for cleaning water bags

OPERATION
(1) Inform CCR to monitor glass width and temperature.

(2) Wet the mortar sealing surface with water spray and break the sealing with
mortar breaker.

(3) Pull out the cooler slowly to prevent dust fall onto the glass.

(4) Close the hole with fibre wool to prevent oxygen enter tin bath.

(5) Use compressed air to clean the cooler.

(6) Inform CCR before inserting back the cooler.

(7) Reopen the cooler hole.

(8) Push in the cooler slowly until reach its original position.

(9) Do side sealing.

PRECAUTIONS
(1) When breaking mortar sealing make sure the fibre wool not go inside tin
bath.

(2) Pull out the cooler slowly to prevent the dust fallen onto the glass.

(3) When cleaning water begs by using air compressor, make sure blow it against tin bath.

(4) After water beg travel in, make sure do side sealing with fibre wool then mortar it to avoid gas
leaking and oxygen go through inside tin bath.
