Opening Remarks
Distinguished Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to be able to meet again at the Indonesian Association of Cardiovascular

Anesthesiologists (IACA) Scientific Event. Hopefully, we’re all in good health and full of
enthusiasm.

I am pleased to welcome you to the "Advisory Opinion Report of Thoracic-Cardiovascular

Anesthesia (AORTA) Forum and Webinar" initiated by the Scientific and Professional
Development Committee of IACA. As doctors, we are obligated to continually update
ourselves; thus, this will be an opportunity for us to refresh our knowledge, learn from one
another, and grow to provide the best treatment for our patients.

This webinar will focus on the anesthesia and surgical perioperative aspects of Coronary
Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery. Topics on coagulopathy, low output syndrome,
enhanced recovery, and other exciting subjects will be discussed. Although we are meeting
virtually, I hope the presentation can be clearly understood and the discussion will meet the
needs of our IACA members and other anesthesiologists attending this conference.
