Job Purpose:

The Director of Strategic Planning and Development is responsible for providing


suggestions to the Founders / CEOS around current trends in both death care and
environmental issues. This leadership role is required to provide the necessary input
that ultimately will drive decision making around how Life Forest pivots within the
market to reach the most current needs of the death care and environmental world.
This individual has advanced knowledge and education to interpret both scientific data
as well as social-emotional based decisions around market trends.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
 Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the company.
 Oversees the daily workflow of the company.
 Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations

Key Responsibilities:
 Ensure good relationships between the company and clients
 Work under pressure and resolve any sudden problems with practical solutions 
 Lead to the formation of resume writing that hire recruiter
 Keep track of engagement across platforms and make data-driven decisions
 Write, review and approves importation and consultation strategies relevant to project
objectives 
 Provide good and relevant consultation to clients
 Act as spokesperson and ambassador for the organization
 Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective
communications strategy based on our target audience
 Collaborates with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic goals
for the organization.

 Monitors business climate, trends in technology and development, and government
activity in areas of the company’s current and anticipated services.
 Collaborates with business unit administration and line managers to produce
business and services plans that are profitable; evaluates these plans on a periodic
basis.
 Performs other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Work indoors most of the time. May occasionally attend outdoor events. Work
somewhat close to other people. They may share office space with coworkers.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

 Core management consulting skills, including: workshop facilitation, client


presentations, project management
 Ability to develop structured approaches to business problems

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent oral and written
communication skills
 Experience of writing, editing and producing written communications for targeted
audiences
 Must have the ability to speak English to an advanced and sophisticated level, both
written and verbal
 Good team-working skills, including the ability to build consensus across teams in
order to prioritize and manage work load
 Thorough understanding of business administration, management, and business
forecasting strategies and techniques.
 Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
 Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualification/ Experience:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or industry-related field required; MBA


highly preferred.
 At least five years of experience in the industry or acting as a consultant on major
strategic planning projects required.
