Job Purpose:
An Accreditation and Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of
accreditation, regulatory and college licensure compliance across the education system.
They also provide consultation to college leadership and managers on accreditation
readiness through participation in operational committees, communication, facilitation and
project management.
Key Responsibilities:
 To interview executives, managers, and employees to determine compliance-related
priorities
 To review documentation, processes, and practices
 To develop and enact regulatory compliance strategies
 To coordinate regulatory compliance procedures across organizational structures
 To provide training in compliance practices and procedures
 To monitor compliance and facilitating interventions to manage risks
 To perform compliance audits and compiling reports
 To document compliance-related processes and maintaining records
 To keep abreast of regulatory changes and developments in the regulatory
environment
 To carry out any other task assigned by competent authority
Working Conditions:
Work conditions, usually, include working indoors, with a large portion of their time spent at
a desk in front of a computer screen. Most of the time, they will deal with multiple queries at
the same time.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

 An accredited qualification in regulatory and compliance assurance will be

advantageous
 Extensive knowledge of industry regulations and governing laws
 Proficiency in office and compliance management software
 Exceptional analytical, investigative, and organizational skills

Qualification/ Experience:
The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience and a Master's degree in
Regulatory Specialization or relevant field or relevant field.
