VII. Observation

Positive Observation of the Relay Race

At the orientation or as the facilitators alongside with the instructor explain the
rules, mechanics and the course of the race, the players are well disciplined and
listening as the facilitators and instructor are informing them how to execute the
race or game. At the beginning of the race it is observed that the players are
enjoying the game and they are forming a bond to one another. They are making
creative strategies for each stages of the game, producing proper communication
in order to finish the stages of the race smoothly. It is also observed how the
players are doing lots of effort in order to have added points to their team and
themselves because it is a race. Overall it was not just a competition or a
competitive race because we can see how the players formed cooperation and
camaraderie to one another.
Negative observation of the Relay Race
There are things or some scenarios of the race that was observed and considered
as a negative observation, one is how the players handle some of the task wrong
like the tire flipping. It is observed that one player tried to catch or wanted to
contact the fall of the tire as their teammate is flipping it causing that player to
slightly injure their hands in the process, the facilitators clearly stated how the tire
should be properly executed in order to not cause any injuries. Overall observing
safety and precautions is a must or prioritize in order to not get injured because
the purpose of this race is to form a sense of cooperative bonding to one another
not to let the players get injured in the process.

VIII. Suggestions, Recommendations and Comments

Suggestions
i. The facilitators should properly instruct safety to the players on
how to do the race in order to not get injured
ii. Suggested that, at the first stage of the race(calamansi toss) the
distance should be extended at least 1 and a half meter not a meter
apart for a better challenge.
iii. To even out the race, the facilitators should made the round of the
race consisting of 3 rounds for another chance of the team.

more stages or change up some of mechanics of each stage in order
to have a bit of challenge for future players who wanted to play.
