Please observe the regulation applicable in your country. Within the European Community, the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) 2002/96/EC is intended to protect the quality of the environment and human health through the responsible use of natural resources and the adoption of waste management strategies that focus on recycling and reuse. This Directive requires producers / distributors of electrical and electronic products put on the market in European Union (EU) member countries after August 2005, to mark such products with the crossed-out wheeled waste-bin symbol shown in the picture aside. At the end of its useful life, the product marked with the crossed out wheeled waste-bin symbol must be disposed of separately from urban waste. Disposing of the product according to this Directive: avoids potentially negative consequences to the environment and human health which otherwise could be caused by incorrect disposal enables the recovery of materials to obtain a significant savings of energy and resources. If you need more information on the collection, reuse, and recycling systems, please contact your local or regional waste administration. You may also contact the manufacturer / distributor for disposing the equipment in case of replacing with a new one or for getting more information on the environmental performances of this product. The disposing off the instrument must be executed in conformity with the national rules, with reference to the local environment authority, considering that it is built with materials not dangerous for the environment and that it was treating fluids potentially infected. In case of illicit disposal, sanctions will be levied on transgressors.
