Arranged Marriages

Arranged marriages are a practice in which families select who their son or
daughter will marry. This practice has been around for some time in many cultures
around the globe.
One of the advantages of arranging a marriage is cultural preservation. Arranged
marriages help preserve the culture and pass it on to the next generation.
However, one of the disadvantages of arranged marriages is the potential for
incompatibility between the spouses. Although the objective of arranged marriages is to
find the most suitable match, it doesn't always work, and sometimes the spouses may not
find each other compatible.
In my opinion, arranged marriages are neither good nor bad, as some people may
see them as a restriction on freedom, while others may view them as a way to establish
compatibility between partners.
